Sharon Marie Jacobs was born in Massachusetts. She grew up in Illinois. She lives in Louisiana. She graduated from Utah State University, with a Bachelor in Interior Design. Her hobbies include writing books, reading, looking at the computer, hiking in the mountains, looking at rocks and stones, taking walks in parks of nature, thinking at home, and doing interior design.

She has been a vegetarian, since age 14, by stopping eating meat and drinking milk. She later became a vegan, eating no meat and no milk foods of all animals, age 32. She is a new food person eating only fruits, vegetables, and water age 52. Being a new food person, is one of the most important things in her life, as she likes this life path. She wrote this book at a happy time in her life, over the years from her experience. The book is about her life experiences, and foods.
